Our April show will be a real treat! Join us for an eclectic evening of jazz flavored musical excursions featuring Jim Guss - Guitar, Rachel Gonzales - Vocals, and Rich Ray on Acoustic Bass. Guitarist - Composer Jim Guss grew up in Honolulu, attended the Berklee College of Music, and spent a number of years performing in mainland Jazz scenes from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City. He played numerous jazz festivals and club dates before returning to Honolulu in 2018. Since then Jim has played on the local scene, leading his own ensembles, as well as accompanying many of Honolulu's best musicians. Vocalist - Rachel Gonzales is one of Honolulu's leading vocalists. Whether in intimate lounge settings or fronting a big band at the Blue Note, Rachel interprets the Great American Songbook and classic jazz repertoire in a style that's all her own. Bassist - Rich Ray grew up in Berkeley California and learned his musical craft accompanying world class artists in the Oakland jazz scene and later in casino showrooms and clubs in Lake Tahoe and Reno Nevada. After moving to Honolulu in the 2000's, Rich took a hiatus from music, but has since resumed and is providing his solid groove and beautiful tone supporting numerous groups around town. We are looking forward to bringing you another evening of stellar jazz, exquisite food and wines.
